How should you choose your
appliance repair company? We are Mayo Appliance Repair
We are family and friends local
business and have been in the appliance repair industry for many years. Our
owner of the company has been in Appliance business for more than 20 years. He
was working for many companies in Plano Area, and finally he gained enough
experience and training to serve you with the best possible way.
Many companies have been in
business for long time, and they are trustful and reliable companies. Moreover,
if you were with them for a while there is no point to switch to any other
companies. You, as a customer already built that bone with your favorable
company. In addition, many one-day
companies are pretending to be a reliable and trustful. It is hard to find the one that you would
trust completely unless you have a previous positive experience with them. All
of them have a nice website and affordable prices; all of them are insured and
have a lot of experience and training. Personally, to be the owner of the
Appliance Repair Company, I would go with your instincts based on a decent
research. We all do not have a time to be on the phone or online for hours and
figure out if the company reliable or not, but we still try to rely on reviews,
ratings and many other facts about one or another company.
So after choosing the right
company, please do not panic if the tech will tell you that he cannot repair
your unit or he needs to get some parts, or get some technical help from
technical support of this brand and etc. Whirlpool, Maytag, GE and few others
become a very complicated machines, manufacturer built them with so many
different sensors, relay boards, control boards and etc electronics. It is not
like the old days, when there were only a few appliance brands (GE, Kenmore) on
the market and if you know how to repair two of them you would know how repair
the rest of them. Everyone needs technical help nowadays because appliances
change so often and are so sophisticated. Therefore, I’m not going to lie, even
after so many years of training there are still some blind spots that our tech
would have to figure out on the place. However, I can tell you for sure that we
would not let you down with your appliance; it may require from you to be a
little patience. Our technicians usually call to technical support of this
particular brand or to our main technician to get a consultation. Otherwise, in
most cases our technicians have enough experience to solve the problem at the
place without any additional help or research.
I would follow these steps if I
have any issue with my appliance:
*First of all, even though you want to buy most efficient, most
newer and most smart machine on the market, sometimes it is better to look at
reviews/feedbacks and get something that is most reliable. We would suggest the
following: GE, Kenmore, Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana, Frigidaire and a few other.
*Search the Web to see if anyone has reported a similar problem and
found a solution. It may not work for you all the time, but sometimes it does.
*If you do not know any trusted technician, check first with your
family and friends, and then look online for some reliable servicer who has
some training with that specific brand.( GE, Kenmore, Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana,
Frigidaire and other.)
*Call several numbers of repair places to compare prices. Most of
the companies would not tell you an estimate of repair via the phone, but at
least you can compare the service call fee.
*If your appliance is broken, do not panic. It never helps.
In addition, please before buying
any of your appliances, do your research because you may want to spend a few
hundred dollars more today, then spend time and money later on repairs. There
is the matter of brand reliability, something you should take into account when
you are making selections for your lists of recommended models.
I hope that you will find this
article helpful for yourself.
Sincerely,
Brian Mayo - The owner of Mayo
